Abstract


PROFIBUS is a new bus technology made by the Siemens company, and it was widely used in manufacturing, process control and building automation, which implements the intelligent field devices two-way, serial, multi-node communication. PROFIBUS bus is one of the most widely used field buses in the world.Due to the historical reasons, field bus technology started rather late in our country, but today the high-performance of field bus has been recognized by the domestic industrial sector. China has also begun to implement field bus products. In our promotion and using of PROFIBUS field bus in the process produced, a great practical subject appears before us, that is how to connect the existing mechanical and equipment to the PROFIBUS-DP bus.In this paper, for the purpose of solving this practical problems use micro-processing chip as a means to complete the design and development of PROFIBUS-DP field bus interface. And PFORIBUS-DP field bus, MSP430 MCU, DP interface development technology was studied, which has some practical significance.
