Abstract


Three gorges region is a weak area in zoology. It has large population, complex geology, weak natural resource and land condition, little plow land per person. With the accomplishment of Three Gorges Dam , the economy development and environment protection of this area has become the focus problem in our country, even in the world. The traditional agriculture production can not meet the need of ecological environment construction. To ensure the safe operation of the dam and the basic living standard of emigrant, it is necessary to do some continuous agricultural researches. Chongqing ecological region plays an important part in Three Gorges region. It has large region range, large population, 85% of which is agricultural population. 2, 000, 700 people are below the poverty line. It is one of the most difficult area in migration. It is quite beneficial to solve the continuous agricultural problem. From the production development level, present model , technology and policy of three gorges area, some results are put forward that the basic status of agriculture should be strengthened, the important agriculture be developed facing the market, sustainable ecology agriculture be developed , agriculture structure be adjusted fast, the prior items be cultivated and the basic ecology area be constructed . And ten methods should be put forward to sustainable development of agriculture in Chongqing area . This article raises that it is necessary to generalize green ecological technology, develop ecological tourism and sightseeing agriculture, so that the quality and benefit of agricultural production can be improved. Sustainable agriculture development should emphasize on land system reform. Government should strengthen macro adjustments and control and guide the market and cultivate and improve different markets so that sustainable agriculture development can adapt to the development of market economy.
