Abstract


How to use the characteristics of the Internet to play for the efficacy of the internal communication and external publicity in universities,it is an urgent task to all colleges and universities currently. Campus Web is undoubtedly the best application platform.The purpose of campus website is to spread the spirit and philosophy of the university .It includes to strengthen the exchange of information and achieve sustainable development.In this paper,I research on campus web site from the perspective of Communication Arts, it is the innovation point. I use the basic principles and theories of ethics of education, communication, aesthetics and other subjects as theoretical support,then I make a systematic exposition about the campus web siteThis article begins with a brief description of the concept and functional goals about campus sites. Secondly, it emphasis on the current situation of the campus web site,and points out a number of deficiencies that exist in the campuses of our colleges and universities, Such as the low rate ofwebsite visits caused by irrational structures、the communication effectiveness of the media elements is poor、the concept of web services is weak and so on.Against to serious problems existing in the communication process, I put forward the recommendations from the frame structure, interface, content and services: Optimizing web site’s frame structure to improve the access rate、forming an effective communication by focusing on the interface text, color, image elements、attracting to audiences by strengthening the content and service management.At the same time,it compares to the successful experience of campuses abroad, and analysis campus web site on domestic,it chooses three campus sites in Hunan as a case study.In this paper,I hope my proposal play a certain role in promoting the information dissemination of campus site,and make the campus web site to serve the college of education better.
