Abstract


1880 - 1889 between the political arena in the late Qing Zhang began to rise also in the diplomatic successes. During this period he frequently involved in foreign affairs , the Qing diplomacy on major policies are also frequent suggestions , and gradually formed its own set of diplomatic thought . Specifically including the \\These foreign ideas and policies from overall is positive and proactive . Compromise the implementation of the Qing diplomatic line in the background , this shows a more diplomatic thoughts tough side. Zhang Zhidong in this thought under the guidance of diplomatic practice and strive for national sovereignty and maintain more than a deserve our recognition.
