Abstract


Reserves department of Ministry of Land and Natural Resources constitutes the Project of Standard Exchange of Petroleum & gas resource in China With the issue of the new national standard,which is the Classification of Reserves of Petroleum & Gas Resource. It is required that all grades of the reserves of petroleum & gas resource in the original table have to be conversed in the new database according to the new standard for the classification of reserves of petroleum & gas resource. It is one of the most important parts in the process of Standard Exchange to develop a set of software, a work platform for it ,to complete the conversion in the Petrochina,even in China. This research focuses on the development of such a set of software according to the requirement of the department and Petrochina. It combine with practical difficulties and important problems of Oil & Gas reserves, make a deep progress on theory and arithmetic research .Through the combination of geology with mathematics and computer sciences, a proved reserves module, including proved reserves, expected reserves and SEC reserves in the database, has been established the adoption of a universal database technology, developed a data-transition software which can dump the reserves data of the four original database into the new one, and a report system, which posses the function of pre-defined module and self-defined partly , can create report quickly, such as reserves gazette,annals and statistical analysis reports .
