Abstract


With the development of society and education , the traditional focus only on the type of education imparting knowledge no longer meet the needs of the times . The new era needs more talent with independent access to the knowledge and lifelong learning ability . In China , there is an old saying : granted mermaid , it is better to teach him to fish . Therefore, to improve the self- learning ability , which is in the new curriculum standards in practice , more and more attention . Self- learning ability can be seen as an important factor in promoting China's foreign language teaching reform , it plays an irreplaceable important role in today 's foreign language teaching . This paper elaborates the definition and importance of self- learning and related to some problems in the middle school foreign language classroom , all of these issues have an important impact on China's foreign language teaching , but also impact on the efficiency of foreign language learning is also a great . Currently , foreign language learning situation is an urgent need to improve the ability of the learner autonomy . Only when the learners have a clear motivation , knowledge of the correct attitude towards learning and language learning , the learner to be able to be called with independent learning ability . A person to use the learning strategies and learning styles can affect a person's learning process and efficiency , so the strategy of training is becoming increasingly important in the high school foreign language classroom . Autonomous learning does not mean completely divorced from the teachers , but a destination to learn under the guidance of teachers . In addition, the process of self-evaluation , and modern high-tech means to also promote independent learning plays a role can not be underestimated . Improve the self- learning ability is a dynamic process that requires the joint efforts of the teachers and students . This article is designed to cause the attention of teachers and other educators , to promote the reform of China 's foreign language teaching and learning by improving students ' self - learning ability .
