Abstract


The short-term capital flows, a topic emerged in the 1980s and subsequently in the financial sector, attracting much attention, especially after the Asian financial crisis in 1997 and 1998, more countries in the financial sector and senior managers. National financial sector authoritative in-depth study of the aspects of the impact on the domestic and world financial environment and financial stability in the short-term capital flows, and a lot of theory, but generally agree that short-term capital flows and economic instability relationship with economic growth less relevant, that is far greater than the positive effect of its negative effects. States thus regulators have raised a lot of policies and measures to limit short-term capital flows, trying to limit short-term capital inflows to the country and domestic capital flight to a certain extent. The short-term capital flows, including short-term capital inflows and short-term capital outflows in two parts, this article focuses on the short-term capital inflows part. As the continued devaluation of the dollar in recent years and the strong growth of the Chinese economy led to increased pressure of RMB appreciation, and with the gradual opening up of China's financial market, a large number of foreign short-term capital inflows into China through various channels, trying to share the results of China's rapid economic growth, and hopes to obtain huge profits RMB appreciation. Due to a large amount of short-term capital inflows, government regulators have developed measures may be limited, but with the gradual increase of the pressure of RMB appreciation, the inflow of short-term international capital unabated, and has intensified the trend. This article is written in this context, and attempts to apply the theory and empirical methods of the causes and effects of short-term capital inflows to make a reasonable analysis. This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter to a question by analyzing the causes and effects of short-term capital inflows to Southeast Asian countries before and after the Asian financial crisis. The second chapter from the theoretical and empirical analysis of the specific reasons for the recent years, a large number of short-term capital flows into the country's. The third chapter analyzes the negative impact on our short-term capital inflows be interested in China's economic and financial environment and stability. The Chapter from four different aspects of a number of measures to cope with the international short-term capital inflows of recommendations. The fifth part is the concluding part of the article.
