Abstract


The reflective teaching movement rise caused by the innovation of teacher education , thus promoting teacher training to teacher development \The reflection of the teachers in the classroom teaching is becoming an important way to improve personal teaching practice and enhance their professional development . The different forms of reflection is widely used in the study of language teacher education and development , but did not get very consistent conclusions . This case study used qualitative research methods lasted one semester to track the effects of changes in reflective thinking and professional development of the four rural secondary school foreign language teachers , effective way aimed at probing the serving foreign language teacher professional development . Promote tools to reflect on four kinds of ways: teachers write teaching diary , dialogue with researchers weekend , the collective when theory and teachers do action research , they promote each other and complement each other , collectively referred to as the integration of reflection . Research data from teacher reflection diary , the weekend recording dialogue and collective discussion , teacher action research provided in-kind , semi-structured questionnaire and researchers diary . The results show that : the integration of reflection to reflect on the content change and reflect on the level of increase the promotion of foreign language teachers , and to reflect on the content and reflect on the level of presence of significant with sex-related relationship ; professional development of major performance changes in teachers' beliefs and teaching practice , but different teachers has its own variation . The paper also gave a detailed description of the study design , implementation , and qualitative data analysis process Based on the conclusions of this study , the author has some useful suggestions , as well as the follow-up study space on Foreign Language Teacher Education and Development Study .
