Abstract


If we take a close look at the economic structure and present situation in Jiangsu Province, we will find that Jiangsu is entering a state where the continuous development of export-oriented economy and the economic restructure take place. Jiangsu is facing three main tasks in the spheres of the economy, namely, how to further rationalizing the structure of production, how to strenghen the ability of research and stimulating creativity and how to balance the relationship between society and the environment. Generally speaking, the development of venture capital in Jiangsu is tightly connected to the three issues above.Jiangsu has good conditions for the development of venture capital, such as prosperous economy, popularization of education, advanced science and technologies. After entering WTO, these above conditions are quickly and greatly improved. Therefore, there is necessity as well as probability lying in speeding up the development of venture capital. Meanwhile, the research on venture capital after China joining WTO is meaningful, for Jingsu is an open province boasting of good economy.The content of this thesis is centered on the influence of WTO over the development of venture capital in Jiangsu, and its structure is arranged around the systems ralated to venture capital. This thesis can be subdivided into three parts--related theories about venture capital, research on the present situaton of venture capital and some possible solutions.
