Abstract


As people use the functional requirements for the improvement of roads , cars on the highway traveling comfort has also been more attention. This paper studies the comfort of the status quo, summed up the past for comfort evaluation methods and standards ; analysis of the many factors that affect comfort , based on the proposed using lateral acceleration and axial acceleration to evaluate highway alignment with flat comfort. Firstly, from the car traveling on the curve the force deduced car when traveling on a curve lateral acceleration model, a value of acceleration on the comfort range ; Then, the running speed calculated the axial driving acceleration model and gives the relevant evaluation criteria. Finally, an example verifies the correctness of the two models and operability . For the evaluation of highway horizontal alignment of comfort with a certain reference value.
