Abstract


Economic globalization has brought not only to the countries in the world rare opportunities for development , and also brought a huge risk to national economy . The face of increasing global economic and financial risks , the government realized that our power alone can not maintain the security and stability of its economy . The East Asian financial crisis in 1997 , exposed a major flaw in the economic system and the exchange rate regime of the East Asian economies . Therefore , after the East Asian financial crisis , in order to prevent the currency and financial crisis erupted again , some of the East Asian economies reached a consensus that coordination within the region to achieve sustained economic growth , the economic and financial system stability and development can not be separated . In recent years, after widespread in East Asia to discuss and coordinate the East Asia regional monetary cooperation has made certain achievements. However, due to the lack of power of the basis of trade integration and political cooperation , the progress of the East Asian Monetary Cooperation slightly slow . Slow progress when legitimate monetary cooperation in East Asia , China and ASEAN in October 2002 signed a free trade agreement , the start of the construction of the China - ASEAN Free Trade Area . The start of the China - ASEAN Free Trade Area is not only a reference model for regional economic cooperation in East Asia , we study the problem of monetary cooperation in East Asia also pioneering a new way of thinking . This article is starting from the point of view of the China - ASEAN Free Trade Area , to discuss the issue of China and ASEAN monetary cooperation , concrete is divided into the following chapters : Chapter 1 Introduction to first clarify the significance of this research , and the basis of a review of East Asian monetary cooperation on , develop ideas to put forward the idea of ??China - ASEAN monetary cooperation ; second chapter of the theoretical basis of the monetary cooperation - OCA theory is reviewed , and to for theory pave the way for China - ASEAN monetary cooperation ; third chapter the combined monetary cooperation between China and ASEAN political and economic background, analysis of the costs and benefits of the China - ASEAN monetary cooperation , and to be compared with the East Asian monetary cooperation ; Chapter reflect on the basis of the existing East Asian monetary cooperation program , combined with the actual situation , make specific suggestions for the China - ASEAN monetary cooperation .
