Abstract


The problem of the internationalization of the RMB has been widely concerned . In particular, in recent years, due to the outbreak of the international financial crisis , the RMB internationalization as China's response to the current international monetary system defects . The internationalization of the RMB is a necessary way to participate in the East Asian monetary cooperation and to play the role of the key currency in which , it has also been widely recognized academia . Therefore, to study the internationalization of the RMB RMB must first study how to participate in the East Asian monetary cooperation and to become one of the key currency . Monetary cooperation in East Asia has long been proposed , but in practice, on the East Asian countries has not actively promote , mainly because of the complexity of monetary cooperation in East Asia . However, it is the only way to achieve the internationalization of RMB , regional monetary cooperation are great role in boosting the economic development of the region as a whole , need to actively promote monetary cooperation in East Asia . This paper describes the experience and theory of regional monetary cooperation to discuss appropriate monetary cooperation in East Asia . Will also estimates the real effective exchange rate of the yuan to measure the competitiveness of the RMB . Japan and South Korea last will compare in East Asia may become the core of monetary cooperation , combined with the real effective exchange rate of RMB to discuss how China should become the key currency may promote monetary cooperation in East Asia and RMB .
