Abstract

Firstly, α, α'-dichloro-p-xylene (DCX) as initiator, styrene (Styrene, St) is a polymerizable monomer by atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) method controllable Synthesis MW, narrow molecular weight distribution ATRP polymerization, polystyrene (PS), and as a macromolecular initiator the initiator methyl acrylate (Methyl acrylate, MA) to give a range of different composition ABA type triblock copolymer PMA-b-PS-b -PMA. The obtained tri-block copolymer PMA-b-PS-b-PMA was dissolved in tetrahydrofuran (THF) was added an excess of 40% potassium hydroxide (KOH) solution, refluxed for 48 hours at 75 ℃. The hydrolysis solution was added dropwise precipitated into a large amount of methanol, filtered and dried, to give the ABA type amphiphilic triblock copolymer PKAA-b-PS-b-PKAA. Subsequently, the molecular weight obtained in the first step in the synthesis of controllable and narrow molecular weight distribution polystyrene (PS) in a chloroform solution chloromethylated chloromethylated polystyrene (PS-CH 2 Cl). Chloromethylated polystyrene (PS-CH 2 Cl) as macroinitiator in CuCl and 2,2 '- bipyridyl (2,2'-bipyridyl, bpy) 32 the presence of toluene as solvent, methacrylate N, N-dimethylamino-ethyl ester (2 - (Dimethylamino) ethyl methacrylate DMAEMA) in ATRP polymerization obtained amphiphilic comb copolymer PS-g- PDMAEMA. And using a laser particle sizer (HPPS), TEM, SEM study the behavior of these two types of two pro-copolymer micelles in different selective solvents. Investigated the influence of the copolymer composition, solvents, additives, temperature and other factors on the micelle size, micelle stability and micellar. The results show that: amphiphilic copolymer PKAA-b-PS-b-PKAA micelle solution prepared in a different selective solvents its micelle average particle size with the increase of molecular weight, is formed in an organic solvent micelles than in water to form micelles stable PS block length variation of the average size of the micelles in an organic solvent, a greater impact in the organic solvent of benzene, was added a small amount of ethylenediamine, micellar solution stability enhancement, glue beam particle average size linear growth trend; amphiphilic comb copolymer PS-g-PDMAEMA micelles obtained in a selective solvent solution its micellar average particle size and the copolymer molecular size related. In certain circumstances the degree of polymerization of the main chain of PS, the aqueous solution
