Abstract


Exchange rate stability to a country's macroeconomic performance , and thus have a significant economic growth, employment and other . After the collapse of the Bretton Woods system in 1973 , the Western countries have varying degrees of the country 's foreign exchange market intervention to stabilize the exchange rate . Intervention sterilized intervention . China since the 1994 reform of the foreign exchange system has been sterilized intervention in foreign exchange markets , with the deepening of reform and opening up , China 's foreign exchange market intervention degree is deepening . Especially after the accession to the WTO , how to solve these problems and shortcomings , how to better play the role of sterilized intervention in China , China is going to face the foreign exchange system reform , and even China 's reform and opening up further , the continuous development of the economy has to an important role. In addition, this paper reviews the history of China 's central bank foreign exchange market intervention , summarizes the characteristics and existing problems of China 's central bank foreign exchange market intervention . On this basis , according to data at home and abroad , the model regression analysis of the effectiveness of asset markets, portfolio theory Implementation in China and China 's central bank sterilized intervention , and the underlying causes of the conclusion of the regression . In the end of the article , the author of sterilized intervention problems and defects put forward some policy recommendations for improving and reforming .
