Abstract


The theory of the core competence catches scholars’attention increasingly ,and at the same time ,the viewpoint of cultivating and advancing the core competence has been becoming to prevail among the enterprises internal..This article presents some important measures on how to cultivate and advance the core competence of Guangdong industry technical college (GITC)on the analysis of the environment of it. This article is divided into four parts. The first chapter of this article introduces a general knowledge of the core competence as the theory basis of this article with a easily understanding way .the chapter also points out that technical college has four element of core competitiveness —Competitiveness of the products , scientific research competitiveness , marketing competitiveness , management competitiveness , And it explaines the forming law of the technical college’s core competitiveness. And the second chapter carries on overall analysis to basic environment , trade environment and competitive environment of the college by the way of PEST and SWOT, it also describes the enormous development chance and advantage in general competitiveness that the college possesses.And the third chapter discerns six key competitiveness of the college in teachers , teaching , scientific research , speciality , marketing , organize culture according to the standard of the core competitiveness,. It also points out the deficiency in fostering and managing the key competitiveness .And the four chapter points out that the college’s goal is to build it into the largest technical college in Guangdong and first-class grand in the whole country with distinct characteristics through implementing difference strategy and cost leadership strategy.it also points out that the college should follow the rule of development of the core competitiveness and combine its own current situation of core competence and promote , supplement and upgrade the existing core competence to keep and develop the college’s lasting competition advantage through management innovation and teachers’ building as the focal point.
