From the vision of social history research ,this paper hopes to analyse the social turbulence and control of mountainous area among E,Yu,Wan provinces, and reviews that what measures were done, who played a key role, how influenced on history.Dynasty change, peasantry uprising and banditry, etc, took place in the mountainous area among E,Yu,Wan provinces. The country, local government and folk force took all kinds measures to control turbulence and maintain native’s natural order. During the process, local gentleman’s status, prestige was improved, they made great influence on history.The exaltation of local gentleman showed country’s week control in the area. At a word, the exaltation of local gentleman was the choice of history, evitable.
