Abstract


In this paper, the use of agricultural economics , regional economics , urban planning theory and research methods of comparative analysis , the status quo of China 's less developed areas of the development of small towns , the analysis of the problems of the development and construction of the small towns of the less developed regions , argumentation underdeveloped areas the need to speed up the construction of small towns , and through international comparative analysis of proposed countermeasures of the development of small towns and the construction of underdeveloped areas , provide some theoretical basis and practical experience to promote the further development of small cities and towns of the less developed regions , the relevant government departments to develop corresponding policies to provide actionable participation in decision-making . Full total of four chapters : Chapter One for the basis of the theoretical part of the arrears from the discussion to the the underdeveloped concept paper gives a comprehensive overview of the small towns , the functional classification of small urban system concept as well as small towns , demonstrated the development and construction of small towns the necessity and importance in the less developed areas of rural urbanization . Second chapter to start from the course of the development of small cities and towns of the less developed regions , summed up the problem of the presence of small towns of the less developed regions : a small number of small-scale , reach economies of scale ; majority of agricultural small towns ; developed township enterprises , individual and private the low level of economic development ; distribution functions of the small towns weak , slow market growth ; development of small cities and towns receive environmental constraints ; small town planning lag featureless building . Chapter first introduces the development and construction of small towns abroad experience , and then gives a comprehensive overview of my over- developed eastern region of small towns five modes : the Wenzhou model Sunan model , the mode of the Pearl River Delta , Jiaodong mode and Beijing mode , concluded up due to the small towns and the construction of the developed areas derive inspiration . Chapter development and construction strategy of the small towns of the less developed regions . Childhood town planning , prosperous urban economy , institutional innovation and small towns operation four major aspects of the development of small towns and the construction of underdeveloped areas countermeasures . This part is the focus of this article , the author seeks to breakthrough the chapter .
