Abstract

Biodegradable Polycarbonate is an important class of biomedical materials, surface erosion degradation mechanism, good biocompatibility and mechanical processing performance in tissue engineering and drug controlled release biomedical field applications have received increasing attention . By changing the chemical structure of the main chain and the introduction of the side chain functional group can make the polymer has a wide range of physical, chemical and biological properties, to meet different needs in the field of biomedical. The first chapter of this thesis, will be biodegradable polycarbonate progress in the study of the structure, synthesis, properties and applications for an overview. In order to further improve the performance of the biodegradable polycarbonates such as biocompatibility, biological activity, etc., so as to satisfy the requirement in certain biomedical field, the biologically active substance into the polycarbonate is the subject of much attention, a. Cholesterol is an essential component in the mammalian cell membrane, and contact with the cells exhibit excellent affinity to promote cell attachment and proliferation. In the second chapter, 2,2 - dimethyl - trimethylene carbonate (DTC), the ring-opening polymerization caused by cholesterol, cholesterol structure is introduced into poly (2,2 - dimethyl - Sanya A carbonate) (PDTC) chain, synthesis of cholesterol function of a series of different molecular weight polycarbonate. And nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy, gel permeation chromatography, differential scanning calorimetry, polarizing microscopy were used to characterize the product. Certain molecular weight of the product at a certain temperature due to the introduction of the cholesterol structure, rendering the liquid crystal state, the function of different molecular weight polycarbonate having a different transition temperature. Cholesterol into the polycarbonate main chain, can improve the biocompatibility of the material, the material performance is expected to improve as a tissue engineering scaffold to promote cell adhesion, growth. Cholic acid is present in the the mammalian gallbladder of a class of compounds, the digestion of dietary fat with a lipid via the enterohepatic circulation. Chapter III of the present paper, we triggered by bile acids DTC ring the opening polymerization, synthesized a series of different molecular weight star with bile acid structure polycarbonate and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy, polarizing microscope product characterized. Certain molecular weight of the product at a certain temperature due to the introduction of cholic structure rendering the liquid crystal state. We also make use of a suitable transition temperature and viscosity of the star of a certain molecular weight polycarbonate the prepared microspheres controlled drug release system with a the melting - emulsification new method, and to study the in vitro release performance.
