Abstract

Hit the water response structure , the field of fluid-structure interaction in a more complex and have a broad application prospects of power problems . Hit the water process , not only the object you want to deform , and free surface will produce substantial fluctuations and other fluid-solid contact surface and can not be determined in advance , so difficult . Because of this , the current study on the Impact response , there are many issues to be further in-depth . Engineering common phenomenon hit the water , there are two major manifestations is a solid structure at a certain speed impact fluid free surface , and the other one is the role of the moving fluid , or the impact of waves on the slamming of the fixed structure (Slamming) . In fact , the second to hit the water phenomenon equivalent description of a phenomenon can be certain . This article is mainly to study the collision of water during the impact with a free surface of the fluid on the solid , MSC 's most famous large finite element software PATRAN and DYTRAN , as a pre-and post-processing and , in the middle of stress analysis including striking object , displacement and level deformation and in the course of change over time . The difficulty comes from three aspects : the process of unsteady ; liquid level fluctuations and the nonlinearity of the fluid-solid contact interface . Computational simulation will hit the water objects using quadrilateral shell element meshing , flow field hexahedral element mesh , in order to compare well with the experimental data . This paper to do a comprehensive analysis of a variety of factors to encounter the impact hit water , hit the water process simulation to verify the correctness of which method to obtain a conclusion consistent with the experimental data , to verify the correctness of the simulation method , and in the same method to study the process of cylindrical and spherical Impact , draw some meaningful conclusions , also pointed out the existing problems and further research directions .
