Abstract


As the manufacturer of the product configuration, product design, production process and other data management software Product data management system (PDM) are widely used by many manufacturing enterprises all over the world. It can effectively define, organize and manage the product data, which include the theoretical design, the detailed structural design, the process design and the maintenance, until the product out of the whole life cycle stages in order to ensure the consistency, the integrity, and the security of the product data.Besides the design, the craft workers, the materials procurement, the marketing personnel and the other management are grouped together organically by PDM. And a parallel platform for collaborative work are created using PDM which used for product designed and built in the enterprise-wide. In conclusion, enterprises can use PDM to improve their product quality, shorten their development cycle, improve their efficiency, speed their product to market, improve the competitiveness of their manufacture.AutoVue is a browsing software to browse a variety of file,which is developed by Oracle Corporation. Through the single interface of AutoVue, user could View, mark or print a variety of image file easily. Similarly, users can browse files of different formats without a lot of editing software but AutoVue.Its Intuitive user interface and rich functionality make it to be the essential choice of thousands of businesses and organizations all over the world.In order to meet the requirements of users of PDM and increase PDM’s market competitiveness,the company decided to achieve the integration of PDM and AutoVue.This paper introduces the research and implementation of the system which according to the needs of integration system.First, this paper has a general account of PDM and AutoVue,the development background of the integration system and the main technology of the implementation of the system, including relevant technology for web server technology, HTML technology and JavaApplet technology.Next, this paper describes the process of system integration analysis and design, including the general structure of the system, the functional need of the system and the functional design of the file download model, the webserver model, file show model. This paper also introduces the design process of database for integration system by taking the design theory of database design.Finally this paper introduces the implementation of fileserver, webserver, file show model and so on. Through the analyzing and tests, the result of performances proves that the design thought and performance methods are reasonable and practical. And onwards, these are valuable to the exploitation of similar software.
