Abstract


Database technology in the late 1960s , is one of the fastest growing areas in computer science and technology . The database system has been widely used in contemporary social life , penetrated into the industrial and agricultural production , commercial , administrative , scientific research , education , engineering and defense and military and other industries , and have around database technology to form a huge software industry , the development and operation of database management systems and various software tools . Beijing University of Chemical Research Management Information System ( hereinafter referred to as the system ) is a set of software design and development in order to meet the research and administrative tasks in the network environment , network media processing functions for a variety of research information . Database system as part of the system , it plays convenient data management , to provide protection for the integrity and security of data and data sharing is an important part of the system is essential . This article is for the Design and Implementation of the system database . First , the paper systematically discusses the emergence and development trend of the database , made ??a brief introduction of management information systems .
