At present, the Wuhan City, Riverside construction of public space is large-scale, high speed , and has achieved certain results , , Hankou twelve , Wu Changjiang Beach twelve have switched built and put into use , along the Yangtze River environmental new look. The purpose of this study is to understand the the Riverside public space usage, after the completion of the assessment of the factors of the role played in the life of the people and understand the impact of public use . In this paper, Wuhan City, Riverside public space for the study, selected three representative case studies . Through field observations , questionnaires and interviews from the urban environment, space design , use , and management policy aspects of research, analysis and summary of the status of the use of public space in Riverside . And generalize the waterfront public space factors that affect the design proposals : planning , the Riverside Public space planning and design should first incorporated into the overall urban planning considerations , clear positioning and rational organization of traffic , it has a good the reachability ; space design should focus on urban natural climate characteristics, cultural characteristics and a continuation of the historical background , natural and ecological diversity space and create and attach importance to the design of the hydrophilic space ; management , management agencies should be in line with the attitude of the public service , to provide support for people's daily activities , and actively take on the task of organizing major public events .
