Abstract


With the popularization of internet and the arrival of information age, it is necessary to build water quality information management and analysis appraisal system to manage and protect water resources. The system has powerful function of inquiry and appraisal, with which the database will be accessed frequently. To complete the query and appraise more quickly and simplified the code, it is of a great importance to design a general inquiry module. Based on the MVC design pattern and Object-oriented thought, this general inquiry module is designed and programmed in .NET platform with ADO.NET, and it provides the function of both the data access and the configuration inquires. It’s successful to dispose the service rule in the configuration file, gain the HTTP context data as inquiry restraint condition automatically, make many kinds of database system accessible, and also its result can be output in many formats, which will be able to satisfy the automatic production of user interface. At last the general inquiry module is used in water quality information management and analysis appraisal system. It is helpful not only in reducing the redundant code and shortening the development lifecycle, but also in decreasing mutual dependence among each part of the system. It has been proved that the general inquiry module can be widely used in the similar information management systems.
