With the advent of the information age, demands for the middleware in military, aerospace and industrial control field are increasing day afer day. Real-time middleware has become one of the key techniques in distributed computing implementation.Real-time middleware offers a common soft bus framework eliminated distributed real-time systems unhandy architecture. So, middleware integrated with real-time system becomes an important developmental direction.In this thesis, real-time middleware has been studied in the round. First, this thesis introduces concept, characteristic, architecture, scheduling of real-time systems and real-time infrastructure. Then this thesis discusses concept, classify of middleware, real-time application request to middleware, the problems that real-time middleware is faced with at present, design principle of real-time middleware, and architecture of real-time middleware.According to real-time CORBA specification, this thesis discusses implementation of real-time middleware. They are real-time CORBA priority mapping methods, real-time CORBA processor resource management, real-time CORBA memory resource management and real-time CORBA communication resource management. Finally, this thesis achieves and verifies the main function modules of real-time middleware.
