Abstract


With the continuous improvement of people's living standards , higher environmental landscape of the residential area . Developers , while residential areas vigorously to create a variety of environmental landscape , waterscape settlements consumers, sought after by social . Water as the material basis of human survival , since ancient times is closely related to people 's living environment . The water is also an important element to create a Chinese garden . This paper tries to explore water features create residential area of reference from the traditional Chinese garden art , water . Analysis of the instance some residential areas water landscape design , system design concept of modern living water landscape . Waterscape construction of the residential areas of ecological , practical method of water quantity and quality assurance . Also should pay attention to the problem of creating the settlements of the northern city water was specifically discussed .
