Abstract

Password authentication based on the key exchange protocol (referred PAKE protocol) can make two or more communicating parties in the public network to safely complete the help of the password authentication and establish a session key. With the rapid spread of the mobile network, PAKE protocol its password brief and easy to remember and is widely used. Diversification of the application of new technologies as well as network communication environment, however, brought a new attack methods and means, so that the original agreement is no longer secure, password leaks and temporary key compromise attacks such as password protocol. New design more secure PAKE protocol to resist these two types of attacks, the subjects in the asymmetric environment, safety performance and efficiency than existing similar agreements have a competitive advantage, this is a work of great practical significance is also very promising. First, consider the key exchange between the user and the server, that user and server to establish a secure channel in the case of sharing the same password PAKE protocol to solve this type of problem is the two-party PAKE protocol. The one hand, the use of public-key cryptosystem proposed a secure and efficient two-party PAKE protocol given in the ideal model to prove the security of the protocol can resist leaking the password attack and temporary key exposure attack. Two-party PAKE protocol, on the other hand, the use of two-lane design a resistance passwords leaked attack and given in the random oracle model to prove the security of. Publicly available information, not yet found strict security proof two-party PAKE protocol can resist these two types of attacks. Second, consider how the two users to establish a secure communication channel in the server's assistance. Assuming two users share the password with a trusted server, facing such problems PAKE protocol is a tripartite the PAKE agreement. In this paper, elliptic curve cryptography, to design a new password can resist exposure attack tripartite PAKE protocol. Proved in the case did not increase the amount of user computing, forward security, lower than similar existing protocols and communication rounds. Finally, the analysis of the communication between two users belonging to different servers, i.e. assuming that the two users were shared with different servers different password PAKE protocol in this case is referred to as cross-domain C2C-PAKE protocol. In this paper, through the analysis of the structure of the existing cross-domain C2C-PAKE protocol and security in an asymmetric environment C2C-PAKE protocol one can resist password leaked cross-domain attacks. The agreement in the ideal model is provably secure and effective than existing similar agreements in the communications and computing.
