Abstract

The explosive growth of the Internet and wireless network technology, the rapid development of more demand for wireless data transmission. For wireless ad hoc networks, how its limited resources fair and effective allocation and management to meet the diverse needs of end-users who are critical. Shared medium of wireless ad hoc networks, multi-hop characteristics for effective resource allocation algorithm design challenges, these algorithms should be optimal resource allocation and to ensure the fairness of the network data stream. In this thesis, the wireless multi-hop ad hoc network resource allocation. First, we describe the characteristics of resource allocation in wireless ad hoc network environment, objectives, and constraints. Next, we discuss three wireless ad hoc network resource allocation model: min fair scheduling algorithm based the rate controller algorithm as well as cost-based resource allocation algorithm and their theoretical framework, characteristics, fairness and resource optimization were studied and compared. Finally, the paper proposes an effective mechanism for bandwidth allocation - based on the dynamic time bandwidth allocation algorithm (ATBAS) algorithm for wireless multi-hop network data flow for a fair and efficient bandwidth allocation. This mechanism in particular control byte of every jump executed, and equitably to the proportion of each competition data stream channel time, the corresponding rate for each through stream recording and saved in every hop and data packet in. The source of each data stream can eventually adjust the rate based on this information, so as to achieve a fair allocation of bandwidth. Simulation results, we propose an algorithm capable of multi-hop data flow fair allocation of bandwidth. The minimum and maximum fairness for wireless ad hoc multi-hop network is an important requirement, which requires that all users have been completely treated fairly, without regard to the number of them after the jump. We have proposed a new cost-based rate allocation mechanism to control the flow rate of a fully distributed application MaxNet thought in the wireless network to achieve the maximum and minimum bandwidth allocation for wireless network data stream. The mobility of the wireless network will generally cause the topology of variability; our proposed algorithm can be adapted to route changes caused by the mobility of the wireless network. In addition, it fully meet the requirements of the wireless network of fully distributed algorithm. Theoretical analysis and simulation that the algorithm is able to meet the constraints of wireless networks, and wireless network data stream in a mobile environment for maximum and minimum fair bandwidth allocation. While the rules of the consideration of the wireless network be extended, and into a more general expressions can be derived to meet the arbitrary topology network MAC constraint condition, or to meet the more general group constraints.
