Abstract


As auto insurance is the pillar of the property insurance, its development directly concerns the stabilization and health of the development of the whole insurance market in China. As a result, the main job of regulation for the property insurance is throughout how to stimulate a rapid and sound development for auto insurance market, and promote the core competence of the auto insurance business for the property insurance companies. China Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC) launched the nationwide reforms on the clauses and rates of the auto insurance Jan.1st 2003, which is also called market reform of the auto insurance. From then on, CIRC was not the framer of the insurance clauses and rates any longer, and each insurance company had his own development right and product pricing right. After all these years, what’s the general situation of the market reform of the auto insurance? Are there any problems of the reforms? How to deepen the market reform? These all require was summarized, and thoughtful。This research sets out from the research of the market reform of the auto insurance in Jiangxi, analyses the existing problems with the economic theories and submits detailed opinions on deepening the market reform of the auto insurance in the future.
