Abstract


Pumped-storage plant is easy to start up and shut down, its operation modes can beflexibly changed. In view of its good ability, the pumped storage station can be used as thesecuring power source of a power grid. Along with the reform of China’s power industrypushing on step by step, the investment and operation mechanism of pumped-storage plantwill certainly carry out corresponding changes.Out of practicability, this paper first strikes up pumped-storage plant’s benefit evaluatingsystem systemicly and roundly based on foreign and domestic pumped-storage plants’operation experiences, then analyzes and compares all kinds of operational models’characteristic. The foundation of ancillary service market makes pumped-storage plant’scompensatory mode more unattached and equitably, this paper have consulted foreign matureancillary service market, and put up research on self-governed pumped storage plant’sbidding stragery, too. At the end of this paper, by use of Baoquan pumped storage plant’example, the above-mentioned content are validated.
