Abstract


In the 1970s , in order to solve the economic crisis , the University of Cambridge created the British University Science Park , which opened the prelude to the development of the University Science Park in the UK . Early , slow the development of the Science Park of British universities are university owned created , the government is only advocate , did not play the actual role . The mid-1980s , the British University Science Park to enter a period of rapid development , the local government began to participate in the construction of the park , to become one of the main building . In the late 1990s , universities, government ( local and central government ) and corporate Trinity jointly promote British University Science Park to mature . Their progressive integration of new community living , entertainment , work, leisure , and become one of the new regional economic growth point . This article describes the British University Science Park to create a development trajectory since , to summarize the successful experience of University Science Park building to provide some useful inspiration .
