Abstract


Rice water weevil Lissorhoptrus oryzophilus Kuschel (Coleoptera: Curculionidae) is introduced to China in the 1980s as a major invasive pests. In his new invasion area , often expanding its distribution area , but the detailed mechanism of the diffusion process and its ecology is not clear . By subtropical coastal Zhejiang two habitats four plots detailed survey showed that: rice water weevil overwintering diffusion distribution ( in plant leaves with feeding spot number indicates ) and the distance from overwintering sites significantly negative related , the regression equation is : Ns0 =-0.0346D 4.8975 (R ~ 2 = 0.9063, P = 0.0001), the maximum diffusion distance of 142m, and Lee Wo ( swim grass ) the distribution of a significant positive correlation , based on field survey obtained data presented feeding spot leaf number and distance, habitat quality factor categorical variables containing multiple regression equation can be used to describe the wintering population expansion pattern. Freedom of choice in the field conditions, the generation of rice water weevil adults barnyardgrass significantly higher selectivity for the choice of rice ; rice water weevil on different growth stages of barnyard grass , rice did not significantly affect the choice ; right hexandra and sedges choice than rice , lower than barnyardgrass ; relatively young ( late transplanting ) feeding on plant spot overall length , the average length of feeding spots relatively old ( early transplanting ) plants to grow . Feeding on the plant per hill spot length and quantity into a significant linear regression relationship , Rice on this linear regression coefficient was significantly smaller than barnyard grass . Rice water weevil in the field a short distance away from the insect diffusion line with more than a place near , far , few of the general diffusion pattern. After a preliminary estimate , the generation of rice water weevil adult emergence 25cm spacing after the young barnyard grass horizontal diffusion rate of 7.2cm / d, significantly higher than the rate in rice leaves (6.1cm / d).
