With the global international division tide, China has been an important host-country of FDI and a main base of international industry transfer, just because of its special comparative advantages. This article elaborates on a series of fundamental issues on international industry transfer, including developing trend, essence, economic causes, internal mechanism, and its influential factors;and also, it empirically judges the effect of international industry transfer to China. Furthermore, on the basis of the difference of industries, the paper empirically analyzes on some different typical industries, in order to uncover the practical influential factors in international transfer of different industries.In Chapter 1, the paper illustrates and comments on the precedential researches on the effect of international industry transfer, and then a series of innovative points of the paper are elicited. In Chapter 2, the paper sums up the time characteristics and developing trends;and then through commenting on several key theories on international industry transfer, the author finds that there exists certain relation between international industry transfer and industry technology diffusion. On this basis, the paper analyzes on the economic causes of international industry transfer, and then reveals its internal mechanism, also technology diffusing mechanism. And the factors are also shown from the standpoint of technology diffusion. In Chapter 3, the effect of the manufacturing transfer to China is appraised with the related indexes of productivity and trade income and expenses. In Chapter 4, starting from the domestic industry environment in our country, the paper experiments the practical factors in transferring traditional and rising industries with the relevant data of timesequence. Finally, in Chapter 5, the main conclusion is drawn: although the large-scale international industry transfer to China certainly promotes the technology of domestic industries, the whole effect is not satisfied. And our government should realize the domestic industrial environment, and make different inducing policies for different industries, so to promote the diffusion of foreign advanced technology, especially the key technology. Besides, as main bodies in market, the domestic enterprises should give efforts in independent innovation to promote the technology level of all the industries.
