Abstract


With the development of economic globalization, the modern logistics industry is becoming an important force for driving the development of a national or regional economic. As an indispensable part of modern logistics system, logistics park is an important breakthrough and the basis points for the development of modern logistics industry in china; the construction of logistics park has an important positive significance to urban economic development, transportation and construction aspects of distribution channels.Xiangfan is the second largest city in Hubei province, has an excellent transportation network which is consist of highways, waterways, airports and other three-dimensional traffic system.Logistics industry is a new industry in Xiangfan has a big disparity comparing to the requirements and objectives of modern logistics, and it can not meet the economic and social development of Xiangfan. This paper has done some research on the planning and design of Xiangfan combined with the city’s logistics development status.Firstly, this paper analyzes the development environment of Xiangfan logistics park, including the analysis of social and economic development of Xiangfan, SWOT analysis for developing logistics industry and gray prediction model prediction of the goods amounts, and then study the strategic positioning, function, spatial distribution and development management.
