Abstract


[Objective] To investigate the clinical feature of cholelithiasis and its influential factor in Yanbian area.[Method] Investigate patients with cholelithiasis retrospectively, who underwent operation in Hospital of Yanbian University from 2001 to 2005. Compare the chemical compositive contents of gallstone between the patients in 1995 and 2005’s by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and colorimetry.[Result] The content of cholesterol of cholecystolithiasis is 500.93± 76.23 ug/mg, and it’s 315.05±161.93 ug/mg in calculus of bile duct, there is significant difference between the two group. The content of cholesterol of cholecystolithiasis is 480.60±104.40ug/mg in 1995, and it’s 517.44± 32.70ug/mg in 2005, there is great difference between the two group. There are 195 patients (22%) in the age class of 40~49 during the 5 years recently, there are 233 patients (26%) in the age class of 50~59, there are 221 patients (24%) in the age class of 60~69. The proportion between cholecystolithiasis and calculus of bile duct is 2.32:1 in 2001, and it’s 2.49:1 in 2002, 2.54:1 in 2003, 3.59:1 in 2004 and 4.11:1 in 2005. The proportion of male and female patients with cholelithiasis is 1:1.58.There are 326 patients with cholecystolithiasis in Chinese Korean, and 349 patients in Han people; there are 80 patients with calculus of bile duct in Chinese Korean, and 144 patients in Han people.[Conclution] The incidence of cholelithiasis is increasing in Yanbian area year by year, and it’s mainly in cholecystolithiasis. However, the incidence of calculus of bile duct is decreasing. The content of cholesterol of cholecystolithiasis in 2005 is significant increase compared with 1995’s, it’s possibly related with the improvement of living condition and the change diet custom.
