Abstract


ObjectiveFemale infertility is common and stubborn ailment of gynecology, its morbidity is widespread, and is a global problem, which will influent marriage, family, and other aspects of society. it is also difficult to cure. ovulatory dysfunction is the main reason of female infertility. Approximately 25%～30% of female infertility due to it. traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) take special advantages and especially effective for these diseases. for the past few years, to treat female infertility by traditional Chinese medicine is becoming a hot topic which deserves more attention. We will discuss the regular pattern of ancient and contemporary prescription compatibility and clinical observation to treat infertility induced by ovulation failure.Theory investigationBased on an overall review of etiopathogenisis and pathogenesis of female infertility (ovulatory dysfunction) , statistical analysis was carried out to the total 315 prescriptions found in ancient and contemporary records. The results suggest that these types of prescriptions were usually based on prescription for Nourishing both Blood and Yang to regulation QI and blood, assist with prescription for both strengthening the spleen and sedatives. So we may get an elementary of the characteristics and regularity of compatibility of prescriptions to treat infertility.In statistical analysis, a new way of double weighted with dosage percentage and general dose was attempted,which may reflect characteristics and thinking way of prescriptions to these diseases more objectively, and may provide better reference to clinical ovulatory dysfunction treatment.Clinical researchThe method of Tonify the Kidney and Regulating the period of Menses(TKRPM) is a treatment to infertility induced by ovulation failure, which is developed by gynecological famous veteran teran doctors of TCM Xia Guicheng. Our study summarized experiences of TKRPM in treating infertility induced by ovulatory dysfunction, its clinical curative effect were observed and recorded, mechanisms were discussed ,so this new thinking way and effective treatment will be understand and apply better.
