Abstract

Since the discovery of carbon nanotube (CNT) in 1991, they have attracted increasing attention because of their particular structural, unique physical, chemical and electric properties. Recently, with the development of studying of these materials, more and more researchers used these carbon nano materials as biological sensors in the field of biology and received satisfactory results.Surfactants are molecules with non-polar regions and charged or polar head groups. These amphiphilic molecules adsorb strongly at solid/solution interfaces such as electrodes. Ordered multiple bilayer films of surfactants can be prepared by casting their solutions onto solid supports. Surfactants can form biomembrane-like structure which can facilitate the electron exchange between proteins and electrodes. In order to broaden the scope of application of these materials in the field of biological analysis, we did some research about the Au electrode modified with single-wall cabon nanotubes and surfactants film, and used them as biosensors to detect some medicine concentration. The content consists of following parts: (1) Direct electron transfer of hemoglobin on DDAB/SWNTs film modified Au electrode and its electrocatalytic activity towards ascorbic acid; (2) Direct electron transfer of hemoglobin on DDAB/SWNTs film modified Au electrode and its interaction with Taxol; (3) Direct electron transfer of hemoglobin on PSS/SWNTs film modified Au electrode and its interaction with ribavirin; (4) The direct electron transfer of hemoglobin on DHP/SWNTs film modified Au electrode and its interaction with Taxol.
