Abstract
|
Frac-pack sand control technology is performing special Fracture technique on middle– high permeability, soft sandy reservoir to control sand and increase well fluids production. All mechanical and chemical sand control methods besides gravel packed sand control will decrease the fluids production from Reservior. But Frac-pack sand control technology can avoid these disadvantages. By this technology, high permeability crack will be fractured, eliminate the pollution on oil layer, raise permeability of oil well. So that it can increase the well flow rate. Frac-pack sand control technology is considered as one optimized way for sand control and well stimulation.Because nature feature of Sandstone, degressive pressure of Reservoir, multiphase flow condition and water injection into formation, sand produces more and more and damage wells.According to the study on the basíc mechanism of Frac-pack sand control technology, Frac-pack sand control is one key method for completion on loose sandy formation.Considering special work condition in Bohai oilfield, provide optimization methods of Fracture fluids, packed material and Fracture processing program. The time of Tip Screen out is critical point, and will be effected by Design mode, lack of pressure monitoring devices. Step rate test should be applied to achieve relevant parameters and ensure successful frac-pack sand control job.with the help of professional software, successfully performed Frac-pack sand control job in Bohai oilfield. It will benefit for future sand control job in Bohai bay.
