Abstract

The literal meaning of moral learning is to learn the morality. The moral construction of College students is not by teaching but mainly by college students themselves as well. The moral learning of college students is different from general knowledge learning and skills training. It stressed that how the attitudes and emotions were formed and how to achieve the integration of cognition, emotions and practice around experiences. There are many theoretical resources in China and western world, which provide grounds for the studying of the moral learning of college students.From the way of studying on the children and juvenile, the main body of the thesis expounds the structure, the mechanism and the process of the moral learning of college students. The structure of college students’ moral learning consists of five elements: college students, moral information, instructors, media and environments. The mechanism of college students’ moral learning includes the outer mechanism and the inner mechanism. From the point view of the outer mechanism, the outer mechanism includes the macro-circumstances, mid-circumstances, which guide and restrain the moral learning of college students. From the point view of the inner mechanism, which is the micro- circumstances, the moral need is a prime motive in the moral learning; to realize the combination of the value of the individual and the value of the society is its objective; the emotional experiences and daily practices guarantee the process of the moral learning. These factors, relating with each other, acting on each other, form a complicated integration. The college students’ moral learning is not only influenced by the outer mechanism, but by college students themselves as well. The students’ moral construction is achieved by the means of moral activities.According to the characters of the moral learning of college students, the thesis reveals the improvement of college students’ moral learning from five aspects.
