The Purpose of this thesis is the research of reactor building integrity leak rate test, and developing a system, which is suitable for performing Qinshan CANDU type reactor building leak rate test with reactor on power.At first, studied the three ways for performing reactor building integrity leak rate test. They are absolute pressure decay method, reference vessel method and constant flow way. The author studied the advantages, shortcomings and the limitations for test condition for these three methods. Discuss the integrity leak rate calculation conbined with the Qinshan CANDU6 containment pre-service integrity leak rate test.Secondly, studied the three ways to process the leak rate data and issue the author’s oppnion on the mass point method, point to point method and total time method to deal with leak rate data.Thirdly, studied the limitations on performing reactor building integrity leak rate test during reactor on power condition and issued the scheme, which is suitable for performing Qinshan CANDU type reactor building leak rate test with reactor on power. Using existed plant resource, the scheme using the air extract function of D2O vapour recovery system to control the airflow extracted from reactor building, control the reactor building internal pressure followed the design pressure curve and get the finally reactor building integrity leak rate. Integrate the leak rate measurement system, choose the temperature, humidity, pressure and flow measurement instrument, calculate the instrument volume weight factors, developed a software suiltbale for containment leak rate measurement under low preesure.Finally, give the suggestions on the containment integrity leak rate test and make suggestions on the developed system at Qinshan Phase III.The research results in this thesis are valuable and useful to containment integrity leak rate test of Qinshan CANDU-6 NPP. It is also valuable and useful to other plant to perform containment integrity leak rate test, especially under on power condition.
