Abstract


Bayberry (Myrica rubra (Lour) Sieb.and Zucc.) Leaves the material extraction of total RNA , according to plant Cu / Zn superoxide dismutase (Cu-Zn-Superoxide dismutase, Cu-Zn-SOD) 5 'and 3 ' end of the design degenerate primers by RT-PCR technology , cloned from bayberry leaves to a Cu / Zn- SOD the gene MrSOD1 ( GenBank accession number : GQ404510) coding region of the full-length cDNA sequence length of 461 bp. The gene encodes a protein consisting of 152 amino acid residues . The bayberry MrSOD1 having the characteristics of the Cu-Zn-SOD the signal sequence GFHVHAlGDtT and GNAGgRvACgiI . Sequence homology analysis showed that , the SOD sequence homology the Bayberry MrSOD1 and GenBank in registered in more than 77% . Hydrophobic protein analysis , the Bayberry MrSOD1 with two apparent transmembrane region . Semi-quantitative RT-PCR analysis showed that expression , MrSOD1 bayberry leaves , branches , fruit and flower tissues , its expression levels for fruit gt ; leaves gt ; spend gt ; branches , the relative expression levels were 1.1489,0.2376 2.8714 and 1.0321 .
