Abstract


The thymus is an immune organ of the human body. It begins to shrink with age after maturity. When its function is not ample or the organism suffers from various infectious diseases, malignant tumour, immune disease, dermatosis, venereal disease and traumatis, or one’s own regulation is not enough to repair, obvious functions of treatment can be achieved only with the help of external thymic intakes.It is reported that Allan Goldstein, etal. drew from calf’s thymus the material with biological activity and named it thymosin in 1966. The small peptide that would contain under 10,000 Doulton was named thymic peptide. Through long-term researches, scientists produced " thymopoietinⅡ" through chemistry, and step forward on this basis to synthesize“thymopentin”." ThymopoietinⅡ" is the single polypeptide compound isolated from thymic hormone, made up of 49 amino acids, and the peptide chain passage composed of 5 amino acids among them, have it with all activity. The material by artificial synthesis was called " thymopentin " in 1979.Thymopentin is a regulating-bidirectionally medicine for the immunity, which induces and promotes T lymphocytes and inferior group of splitting up, ripe and activatory functions, regulates the proportion, makes CD4+/CD8+ normal.Regulate and strengthen on the function of the immunological function of human cell, can impel silk and split T ripe lymphocytes in the peripheral blood after activating originally, increase T cells in (For instance: Interferon ofα、γ, lying between plain 2 in vain and lying between plain 3) in vain. Increase the level of the lymphocytic factor receptor on T cells. It, through assisting the activation of cells, strengthen lymphocytic cellular reaction to T at the same time. In addition, this product might influence NK forebody cell.Because thymopentin has development trend of growing from 1mg specification to 10mg specification. This text is mainly based on quality level of 1mg specification which the country sanctions, draft 1mg specification again, the standard of thymopentinDraft 1mg specification again, the standard of thymopentin of 10mg specification combines to stability and presses two appendices of China pharmacopoeia 2005 version Method of inspection examination and discussion. Thus its quality standards can be verified to be reasonable and scientific, which is convenient for controlling the quality and safity for patient right use.
