A Study of the Association of Leptin with the Expressions of Complement Regulatory Protein CD55, CD59 in Patients with Hyperlipidemia

Abstract


Objective To observe the patients with hyperlipidemia plasma leptin levels and complement regulatory protein of CD55 and CD59 expression of the relationship . Method selected 58 cases of patients with hyperlipidemia , age , sex, body weight to match the normal person 21 cases as controls , plasma leptin was measured by ELISA , peripheral white blood cell complement regulatory proteins CD55 and CD59 expression was measured by flow cytometry , analysis leptin levels and complement regulatory relationship between protein expression . Results are compared with the normal controls , patients with hyperlipidemia plasma leptin was significantly higher than the normal control group ( non-normal distribution The median for 8357pg/ml than 5348pg/ml , P = 0.024 ) ; patients with hyperlipidemia lymphatic the cells CD55 mean fluorescence intensity and the percentage is higher than normal control group was significantly lower [(2.07 ± 0.26) than (2.34 ± 0.44), (35.72 ± 13.53)% ratio ( 44.14 ± 15.67 ) % , P = 0.012,0.022 ] ; plasma leptin positively correlated with TC, LDL, TG, body mass index , waist circumference and hip circumference (r = 0.285 ~ 0.451, P = 0.011 ~ 0.000), with the complement regulatory protein of CD55 and CD59 expression is not related ( P > 0.05 ) . Conclusions in patients with hyperlipidemia plasma leptin concentration , white blood cell complement regulatory protein CD55 downregulation , but leptin levels and complement regulatory protein expression levels between the relationship between the number of leptin may not directly affect the expression of complement regulatory proteins .
