Objective: To study lung squamous cell carcinoma of TGF-β 1 < / sub> and expression of E-cadherin , Vimentin in the correlation ; investigate whether the presence of TGF -β lung squamous cell carcinoma 1 triggered epithelial -mesenchymal transition (EMT). Methods: Using immunohistochemistry MaxVision TM method detected 60 cases of lung squamous cell cancer and adjacent non - tumor tissue archive tissue in paraffin blocks TGF -β 1 , E- cadherin , Vimentin in the expression . Results: 1 , TGF -β 1 protein expression in lung squamous cell carcinoma was significantly higher than in adjacent non-tumor tissues ( 33.3% vs 16.6 % , P lt ; 0.05 ) , TNM staging Ⅲ ~~ ⅳ group of positive expression rate in TNM stage Ⅰ ~ Ⅱ stage , metastasis group than those without metastasis group , poorly differentiated group than in the well differentiated group ( P lt; 0.05 ) ; gender, age, tumor size had no significant correlation ; 2 , E -cadherin protein expression in lung squamous cell carcinoma than in adjacent non-tumor tissues ( 53.3 % vs 80 % , P lt ; 0.01 ) , cancer tissue E-cadherin expression transfer without metastasis group than in the well differentiated group than in the poorly differentiated group ( P lt; 0.05 ) ; no significant correlation with gender , age, tumor size , TNM stage ; , vimentin protein expression in lung squamous cell carcinoma higher than in adjacent non-tumor tissues ( 46.1% vs 0 % , P lt; 0.01 ) ; metastasis group than those without metastasis group , the positive expression rate in group the of Ⅲ ~~ IV period TNM stage Ⅰ ~ Ⅱ (P lt; 0.05); no significant correlation with gender , age, tumor size , differentiation ; 4 , lung squamous cell carcinoma , TGF -β 1 and E-cadherin expression was negatively correlated ( r = -0.26, P = 0.046), with Vimentin expression was positively correlated ( r = 0.331 , P = 0.011 ) , E - cadherin and Vimentin expression was no correlation ( r = -0.004 , P = 0.973) . conclusions : 1 , lung scales cancer, TGF-β 1 for high expression of TGF -β 1 and E-cadherin negative correlation , TGF -β 1 and Vimentin positive related lung squamous cell carcinoma may exist TGF-β 1 -induced EMT ; lung squamous cell carcinoma of TGF - β 1 expression may be associated with tumor invasiveness .
