Abstract


As is known to all, bai juyi is extraordinary realistic poets in the tang dynasty, is also a very good music player, critics. There is indivisible relationships between his achievement and The Times its inseparable relationship, The contention of a hundred schools of thought contend endowed him with abundance of creative inspiration which making him wrote a lot of beautiful and impressive poems. The form of Tang poetry was enriched by his dazzling music poems. About 330 of his music poems were recorded in "Full Tang" poems. About 80 poems were closely related to music among his music poems, which mentioned to lots of musical Instruments such as the jean, zheng and pipa. This shows that music has a place in the history of poetry.Bai juyi music poems can be divided into two kinds by content, one is describing musical instrument, the music and the player, and another is describing the feelings of music listeners. The aesthetic emotion expression including praising music, expressing emotions and Qi Xing after listening to music was based on the foundation of past music innovation. Music gives him continuous ideas in writing. He usually can’t help writing poems when he listened to the music. Expressions of loving life and longing for bosom friend were usually found in his poems.In addition, Bai juyi can integrate the music and literature, with the purpose of using poems to express his political appeal. He usually expressed concern about motherland and common people in form of music poems. His political ambitions and sincere feelings between friends were also expressed by the use of music poems. Although bai juyi’s music poem only accounts for small part among flourishing Tang poems, valuable historical materials were also found in his music poems which have very positive significance for studying history, literature and bai juyi himself.
