Abstract


The mesoporous molecular sieve MCM-41 were first synthesized by means of liquid-crystal templating mechanism by scientists Kresge of U.S.A.. Contrary to traditional molecular sieve, this mesopores materials obtained by this route exhibit several remarkabale featurese: well-defined pore sizes and shape, fine adjusted of the pore size within the limit, hexagonal arrangement of uniformly-sized channel varying from 2nm to 20nm in size, surface area above 700 m2/g, high hydrolytic and thermal stability , which has attracted much attention. Recent years , the study is focus on the functionalizing and modification of mesoporous molecular mieve MCM-41 so that to expand its functions.In the paper, the molecular mieve MCM-41 was functionalized first by Y -aminopropyl, Y -chloropropyl and Y -mercaptopropyl on its inner surfaces, then was assembled with transition metal complexes. Our main works are as follow:The mesoporous silica molecular mieve MCM-41 was synthesized used cetyltrimethylammonium bromide as surfactant templating agent, then calcined at 520 C so that to remove the surfactant templating agent. Secondly, the the internal pore surface of mesoprous MCM-41 were modified with -aminopropyl, -chloropropyl and -mercaptopropyl. Whose mass increased 40% in the toluent and 80% in the alcohol. The functionalizing MCM-41 were characterized by IR and XRD.This molecular mieve MCM-41 material also was fictionalized with mercaptopropylsilane, the organic group mercaptopropyl was induced onto their pore.The adsorption experiments of the functionalizing MCM-41 to heavy metal ions in the two different ways of static state adsorption and ion exchange column were done.It show that the material had strong adsorbed capability to heavy metal ion , especially Ag and Hg.We synthesized two kinds of Schiff base, N,N-bis(furaldehyde)ethylenediamine and N,N -bis(furaldehyde)diethylenetriamine, and their 4 novel complexes with metal ions Zn and Cu. The new ligands and complexes were characterized with elemental analysis, UV ,IR spectroscopy, and thermal analyses. It is found that the complex N,N-bis(furaldehyde)diethylenetriamine chloride copper has a novel " sandwich" molecular structure.Finally, N,N-Bis(furaldehyde)-l,2-phenylenediamine cobalt(II)chloride and3 -CD were encapsulated in MCM-41 by the method of ship-in-bottle. The products were characterized by the methods of XRD* UV-VIS and IR spectra. The results showed that the complex has been encapsulated in the pore of the molecular sieve; and their framework has not changed. The DSC curves of free state and the encapsulated state complex were measured in the condition of air, and the observed active energy of oxidated reaction were obtained through Kissinger method. The result indicate that the active energy of encapsulated state is smaller than that of free state.
