Abstract


The application and research progress of coagulant and nanotechnology are discussed in brief, and the preparation research of Nano-inorganic Polymer Flocculants (Nano-IPF) and the application to the wastewater treatment research . So, we carried out the following research:1. The preparation and coagulation property of nano-polyaluminium silicate sulfate (Nano-PASS). A new type of flocculant Nano-PASS was prepared by ultrasonic waves using sodium silicate and aluminium sulfate,the products are characterized by transmission electron microscopy,The factors influencing the removal efficiency the wastewater, such as settling performance,coagulant dosage of turbidity,pH and stirring intensity were investigated and the coagulating mechanism was also analyzed in this study. The results of the coagulation-flocculation showed that the performance of nano-poly aluminum ferric silicate was much better than experiments for treatment wastewater that of polyaluminum silicate sulfate. the removal ratio of turbidity was 92.9%,the removal ratio of decolorizing was 88.3% and the removal ratio of chemical oxygen demand(CODCr) was 32%.2. The results of the coagulation-flocculation showed that the performance of nano-polyaluminum ferric silicate was much better than experiments for treatment wastewater that of polyaluminum ferric silicate. the removal ratio of turbidity was 97.8%,the removal ratio of decolorizing was 94.6% and the removal ratio of chemical oxygen demand(CODCr) was 55.1%.
