Abstract


Objective gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) is derived from the gastrointestinal mesenchymal tumors, including previously known as leiomyoma, leiomyosarcoma most mesenchymal tumors. Stomach and intestinal stromal tumor gastrointestinal stromal tumors accounted for 80%. Currently immunohistochemistry CD 117 and CD 34 is a gastrointestinal stromal tumor diagnosis necessary conditions. However, its clinical different GIST tumor biology are very different. Therefore, there is a tendency: that are potentially malignant GIST, promote the use of risk classification to replace the previous simple benign and malignant classification. The present study was the degree of malignancy grading standards GIST comments yet unified, it also poses a challenge to us, how to use one or several detection metrics to accurately determine the extent and prognosis of malignant GIST. Cases All cases were graded according to the light microscope morphological characteristics, combined with immunohistochemical staining results (CD 117 -positive and / or CD 34 -positive) to make the diagnosis of GIST and re-grading . Conclusions 1. p53, PCNA expression levels are closely related with the nature of GIST, once again demonstrated tumor cell proliferation and apoptosis of GIST imbalance is one of the mechanisms of malignant transformation. 2. p53, PCNA can be judged clinically malignant gastrointestinal stromal tumor extent an important reference index. 3. p53, PCNA in different malignant GIST, the positive expression levels may be the timing of medication after surgery to provide clinical guidance.
