Abstract

Current human faces serious energy problems , as coal , oil and other energy sources become exhausted , looking for a new alternative energy sources have been increasing attention of researchers around the world , hydrogen is considered to be such a new green alternative energy sources. Semiconducting photocatalytic water splitting is to convert solar energy into hydrogen one of the most environmentally friendly way . Compared with other semiconductor , Ti02 has many advantages, is a new type of semiconductor photocatalyst photocatalytic water splitting the application has broad prospects. Electrospinning technique is a simple and easy to operate for continuous preparation of low -dimensional material, thus using electrospinning were prepared Ti02 low -dimensional materials and used photocatalytic water splitting , in recent years has become a research hotspot. Paper prepared by using electrospinning Ti02 low-dimensional nanomaterials , including nano- fibers, porous hollow nanofibers and nanoribbons , while using electrospinning prepared TiO2/Au and TiO2: Fe3 nanofibers ; using TG-DTA, FTIR, XRD, FESEM, EDS and other analytical testing methods for the as-prepared samples were systematically characterized. The results show that the nanofiber diameter 50-200nm; nano- porous hollow fibers have a diameter of 150-400nm; nanometer band width of 2-14gm, a thickness of 90-220nm; TiO2/Au nanofiber diameter of 50 ~ 180nm; TiO2: Fe3 fibers have a diameter within the meter 80-200nm.
