Abstract

Traditional Internet due to time and space constraints , can not meet the demand of the growing number of mobile users , a new technology - mobile IP technology , came into being . Mobile users to be able to maintain the existing communication connection in the case of changing their own position . Mobile IP switching is a key issue in Mobile IP technology , switching performance is directly related to the communication quality of the good or bad of mobile IP switching is a hot mobile IP technology , the ability to provide an efficient , low- loss rate , low switching latency handoff algorithm problems to be solved . Mobile IP switching performance problems , this paper proposes a focus on mobile IP switching parameters detection model , simulation model , simulation analysis of Mobile IP handover performance . Switching point of view from the optimization of the link layer to reduce mobile IP switching delay , proposed a mobile IP improvements in wireless LAN switch program . The full text reads as follows: (1) conduct a study of the basic principles of mobile IP , in-depth study and summarize existing mobile IP switching technology , in-depth analysis of the various factors to affect the performance of mobile IP switching . ( 2) a mobile IP switching parameter detection model by model analysis of switching delay , packet loss and packet disorder situation . Analysis of the impact of mobile IP switching and mobility of mobile IP switching performance by simulation trace TCP packets . (3) when the mobile node in the Mobile IP handover occurs between two different subnets , will successively link layer switching switch and the network layer . From the the network layer switch point of view to consider , more or less to change the existing mobile IP specification . Therefore, we switched from the link layer point of view , proposed an improved mobile IP in wireless LAN handover schemes . The program reduce mobile IP handover latency , and improve Mobile IP switching performance .
