Abstract


Resource-based cities have made outstanding contributions to China's economic and social development. However, the practice of many countries and regions, rich in resources as the comparative advantages of resource-based cities did not bring rapid economic development, it may fall into the trap of the resource curse. In China, many resource-based cities facing exhaust resources and urban decay \Therefore, from the perspective of the resource curse strengthen the transformation of resource-based cities to promote the sustainable development of resource-based cities in China has a very important significance. The content of this thesis has seven chapters, in accordance with the logic of the \Introduction introduces the research background, significance, research methods, research status and innovation; second chapter introduces the basic situation of China's resource-based cities; On this basis, the third chapter analyzes the theoretical circles in China type of existing research resources methods and indicators of the city resource curse phenomenon existing problems, adaptive analysis of this paper, the size of selected economic indicators; Chapter use of the scale of economic indicators and an empirical test of resource-based cities resource curse phenomenon; Chapter empirical analysis based on the fourth chapter conclusions, from the point of view of the economies of scale of the resource-based cities in China there is a resource curse; Chapter VI continue from the point of view of the economies of scale resource-based cities to get rid of the basic idea of ??the resource curse; Chapter VII a summary of the full text, and pointed out that the thesis of the deficiencies and future research directions. Many domestic and foreign research literature on the transformation of resource-based cities innovation of this paper is mainly focus on breakthrough from a research perspective and research indicators, the main innovation is reflected in: First, the research literature there is little research resources from the point of view of the resource curse -urban transformation, based on the departure from the resource curse perspective, in-depth study of the problem of resources cities in China, reflects the innovative research ideas. Second, the paper first use of large-scale economic indicators to determine whether there is a resource curse phenomenon, by constructing a time series model checking, the use of regression analysis and confirmed by large-scale economic indicators (cost, output value ratio) between economic growth and resource-based cities in China negative correlation. Third, diseconomies of scale is the reason for the resource-based cities in China there is a resource curse phenomenon, and accordingly put forward the corresponding countermeasures.
